I-PADS!!!
Exciting day in school today !
Weve had 72 new ipads delivered to the school today. This means that come September there will be enough to have 2 per class and one for each child in year six for the life project. There going to make a massive impact on our childrens learning !!

TESTS TESTS AND MORE TESTS!
In school this week were completing the national tests. While doing the reasoning with year two this afternoon I needed to use a cd rom and the interactive whiteboard to explain to them along with the script what they needed to. I couldn't help but think how difficult it would of been if I didn't have the whiteboard to use, unfortunately our year four teachers had the experience of the cd rom not working on their laptop so the poor year fours need to do it tomorrow.
How's your school coping with the dreaded tests?

In school we have a range of technology resources. we are very lucky to have a interactive whiteboard in each classroom from nursery up to year six. We have three or four computers in each classroom, a computer room with 30 computers in for children to have their ICT lessons taught by their class teacher or the ICT PPA teacher. In the foundation phase we have bee bots that the children can learn directions and instructions from. The school have recently bought 30 i-pads for the year 6 class who are involved in interactive learners.

Today I learnt how to screen print using the snipping tool. I found this useful for making help guides, worsksheet and saving childrens work.
